Biography:
Elvah Safidiniaina Vololombolantsoa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management at the University of Vakinankaratra. She is an environmental activist with a love for literature and youth sensitisation through advocacy speech to diverse audiences. She is currently working as a cultural and media library facilitator. She organises educational and creative activities that foster learning, dialogue, and community engagement in her home city, Antsirabe.
After her graduation in 2025, she joined the surveyor team to collect data on air quality perception and health data digitalisation under the FLOURISH research programme in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Through this experience, she enlarged her knowledge about the current challenge urban citizens were facing, and this inspired her commitment to engage more in communicating environmental threats further and encouraging responsible relationships between communities and nature in Madagascar.
Elvah cares deeply about environmental justice and transparency, believing that meaningful change requires open communication and equitable access to knowledge. She particularly enjoys working with children, using creative approaches to spark curiosity and nurture the next generation of environmental stewards. Looking ahead, Elvah is eager to explore international opportunities that will broaden her perspective and allow her to contribute to environmental initiatives on a global scale.
