Lizzie is a climate practitioner who completed a MSc in Environmental Technology with a specialisation in Global Environmental Change and Policy at Imperial College London’s Centre for Environmental Policy. Lizzie’s research interests include equitable net-zero transitions, the climate and human rights nexus, and multi-stakeholder, participatory, community-centred approaches to climate mitigation and adaptation. 

Prior to starting the MSc programme, Lizzie spent three years on the Climate team as an Associate at BSR (Business for Social Responsibility), a global consultancy focused on private sector transformation for a more just and sustainable world, supporting projects related to climate change, climate justice and just transitions, corporate sustainability strategy, climate scenario analysis, climate-related financial disclosure, voluntary carbon markets and nature-based solutions, and climate transition planning. In addition to the private sector, Lizzie has experience in the government and grassroots non-profit sectors. Lizzie graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a BA in Contemporary European Studies and Environmental Sustainability Studies.
