Florence Guriras is a dedicated accountant for donor funded projects at the University of Namibia where she plays a key role in financial management of donor funded projects. With over 12 years of working experience in overseeing financial management and reporting of over 350 grants, local and international, Florence has developed strong skills in budgeting, donor reporting, procurement and compliance.

Her educational background in finance and business administration provides her with a solid foundation in handling grants to ensure timely donor reporting and compliance. She has developed great passion for working with different donors and understands that each donor has different deliverables which the University must comply with.  Her meticulous attention to problem solving contributes to the successful implementation of projects that align with the strategic objective of the University.  Florence is strongly committed to ethical financial practices and responsible management of resources and ensures transparency.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in Finance, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and is currently undertaking a Master’s In Business Administration.
